Youth Lacrosse in Raleigh
LOCATION: Oak City Plays home games and practices at Centennial Campus Middle School plus various locations in North Raleigh
AGE GROUPS: We offer youth lacrosse to:
Grade 1-2 (small-sided games to maximize player touches and involve more players in the game) 
Grade 3-4 (plays 10v10 or 8v8 depending on the opponent)
Grade 5-6 (plays 10v10 format) 
Grade 7-8 (plays 10v10 format) 
We structure our teams, training and games around those age groupings and provide cohort-based training to each age group. 

2025 SEASON BfEGINS AND ENDS: Oak City's Fall Season will begin after Labor Day and finish on October 31, 2025. 

PRACTICE SCHEDULE: All teams practice Saturday mornings and Wednesday Evenings

We continue to be the best youth lacrosse program in the area because we focus on fun, player development while learning and playing lacrosse with players who are similarly skilled peers. Our goal is to provide the best lacrosse experience available in the region. We focus on the academy model, training and grouping players onto teams based on their skill and experience. 

Our leadership and coaching staff are engaged in the growth of lacrosse  as certified coaches, volunteers, national-level coaching instructors, tournament and youth sports directors, former and current players with decades of playing experience. Our commitment is to provide outstanding and personalized individual and team-based lacrosse instruction to youth lacrosse players in grades K-8.  

Founded by several long-time lacrosse coaches and players, Oak City Lacrosse Academy is committed to making lacrosse fun and exciting for players, helping parents and fans know and understand the game and building the sport of lacrosse in the Capital region of North Carolina. We are excited to have you join us as we provide a great experience for players and parents.
